The Construction Specifications Institute is proud of our many award winning educational programs. Foremost among them is CSI Certification. Each year CSI provides an opportunity for you to attain professional certification in many career-advancing fields. Through CSI Certification you gain extensive knowledge of the construction process and construction documents. Register now for the next study group. This study group is designed to help you prepare for the CDT certification exam. Classes are organized and conducted by local volunteer members of the Puget Sound Chapter CSI. Class location will be announced when the arrangements are secured. Classes begin in early January, and will be held each week through mid-March. The costs vary. Student rates are available.
Study materials consist of the CSI Project Resource Manual (PRM), and a current copy of the AIA A201 Conditions of the Contract for Construction (provided). Costs for the PRM will vary depending on CSI membership. The PRM may be purchased on the National CSI web site at www.csinet.org or call toll free 800-689-2900.
The exams are arranged and organized by The Construction Specifications Institute. Therefore, it is important to note that you must register with Institute in order to take the exam. Exam fees are separate from study group fees and vary depending on CSI membership, student status and early registration discounts.
